In this episode, Aimee is joined by Dr. Christopher Shade. He has a BS/MS degree in Environmental & Aqueous Chemistry. Dr. Shade also has a Ph.D. in Environmental & Analytical Chemistries of Mercury and Advanced Aquatic Chemistry. While earning his Ph.D., he developed and patented analytical technology for mercury speciation analysis. He founded Quicksilver Scientific that commercializes his technology. Now he focuses on the human aspects of mercury exposure, toxicity, and the human detoxification system.
